Meet Ondrej Chudy, Managing Director & Founding Partner at TMD, who leads our operations, marketing, and business strategy while focusing strongly on technical design, BIM, and project execution. Based in our London office, Ondrej ensures that TMD remains a leading partner for architects, developers, and real estate professionals, delivering both cutting-edge visualisation services and technical design expertise.
From Design to Business Leadership
Ondrej’s journey into the built environment began during his studies at the Secondary Technical School of Civil Engineering in Hradec Králové, where he developed a passion for precision, technical detailing, and project documentation. Unlike many professionals who enter the field from a purely artistic background, Ondrej pursued both technical and architectural education. He studied Architecture and Building Sciences at Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering, where he gained a deep understanding of both design and construction, allowing him to bridge the gap between conceptual thinking and real-world execution.
“I was always drawn to the full process of design projects—not just the conceptual phase, but the entire lifecycle from development to execution. I naturally gravitated towards the technical aspects, where precision and problem-solving play a key role in shaping spaces that are both functional and visually compelling.”
However, his ambitions extended beyond traditional design practice. During university, he co-founded Designeros.com, a creative startup leveraging the global reach of the Facebook community Trust Me, I’m a Designer, which amassed millions of followers. This experience opened Ondrej’s eyes to the global market and digital communication in design, reinforcing his ambition to build an internationally recognised studio.
“That experience shifted my perspective. It made me realise that I didn’t want to be just another architectural designer—I wanted to shape my own path and work on a global scale. It gave me the confidence to take risks, which ultimately led me to London and, eventually, to founding TMD.”

While Petr Kousal leads the creative and conceptual direction at TMD, Ondrej is responsible for business strategy, technical design, and project operations. His expertise spans across:
Technical Design & BIM Consulting – Ensuring that projects transition from concept to execution with a focus on materials, construction methods, and structural feasibility.
Architectural Visualisation Services – Helping clients communicate their projects through high-end rendering, CGI, and photorealistic 3D visualisations.
Business Development & Market Strategy – Strengthening TMD’s position in the industry, expanding its global partnerships, and integrating the latest AI & digital workflows.

At the same time, I am constantly thinking about how to position TMD as a strong business in an evolving market.”

TMD has worked on high-profile projects across Saudi Arabia, the U.S., and Europe, helping architects and developers enhance their marketing presentations, competitions, and real estate sales materials.
Most recently, TMD achieved success with Morocco Oasis Retreat, an award-winning competition entry that showcased the firm’s ability to merge strong design concepts with high-end CGI storytelling.
“Winning the Morocco competition was a defining moment. It proved that we could not only create strong design concepts but also communicate them effectively through our visualisation expertise. But beyond the work itself, it also challenged us to refine our PR, marketing, and client communication strategies—skills that are just as essential in today’s market.”
The Role of Sport in Business & Life
Beyond design, Ondrej is a passionate runner, swimmer, and road cyclist, currently training for the Jungfrau Marathon in September.
“Sport is my way of clearing my mind and staying disciplined. Whether it’s long-distance running or road cycling, it pushes me to constantly improve, set goals, and keep a competitive edge. This mindset directly translates into how I approach business and design—always aiming for the next challenge.”
